Our mission is simple:
Develop Complete Basketball Players—not just tournament teams.
OUR STORY
Anthony Edwards Elite ATX (AE5 ATX) was launched in the spring of 2026 with a vision to build something different.
We entered the grassroots basketball world later than most, assembling a single 17U team after many programs had already established their rosters. Rather than making excuses, we embraced the challenge.
From day one, our identity was clear...we weren't going to play isolation basketball; we were going to play the right way.
-
Move the basketball.
-
Play with relentless pace.
-
Create elite spacing.
-
Make the extra pass.
-
Defend with purpose.
-
Fill the floor with shooters.
-
Put winning above individual statistics.
That commitment quickly became our culture.
Despite starting late, our inaugural team became one of the most respected groups in Texas, competing against nationally recognized programs while playing an exciting, unselfish brand of basketball that college coaches appreciated.
Our first season also produced immediate results off the court.

While college scholarships are an important milestone, they are not our finish line.
Our mission is to develop complete basketball players who understand how to compete, how to lead, and how to play winning basketball at every level.
AE5 ATX is built on player development, accountability, and a team-first mentality.
We don't chase highlights. We chase championships.
We don't build stars. We build teams.
This is only the beginning.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
AE5 ATX athletes receive a structured weekly development plan that goes beyond tournament play. Each player participates in 1–2 team practices and 2–3 skill development workouts every week. Practices focus on team concepts, spacing, pace, communication, and playing together, while workouts emphasize individual skill development and position-specific training. Players also have access to Ball-Hard's proprietary training equipment and development systems, helping improve shooting, ball handling, footwork, athleticism, finishing, and basketball IQ. Our philosophy is simple: develop players consistently and compete at a high level.
